Juliet

Juliet

A Poem by ScaredSilent
"

About a tragic love story. With a bit of a twist.

"

If the stars could but pick out my story
From the never ending woe of the sky
They would tell you in whispers
That when I was born so did I die
Twas born that day a heart sold to fate
When I cried they were tears of shade
And when I screamed it was a voice of sorrow
Oh how I wept when I came into this world
And how I wept when I left it
But why, why did I weep so
A game did plague my line of sight
A game of loss and panic and strife
She came to me with eyes of gold
Gently did play her fingers on my lips
And how she rested on my breast
With a Lilly temperament And an ache in my chest
She danced Right in and ran right out
Twas an impassioned wound upon my brain
A muse of a forgotten tale
She was swaying and leaping among my fray
Laughing she came to be
She was nothing more
But a dream
Thee told stories of lust and betrayal
With Auburn hair and a face so frail
A punctuation on my skin her kiss left
Onto the weeping rain her tears did go
With a spring time that winter dons
Twas mocking me breaking me
With her petty steps
Nigh upon the mantle of my heart
She danced so close to the edge
With face so free twas a miracle
And absolute art to me
How when she fled,
My life my love became dread
Thee faced me
And I was dead
This is my story
Told from the stars
With tears of shade
Till the end
My scary murderous Juliet

Well written, I enjoyed the read. It may be easier on the eye of the reader if your work was broken down into stanzas, but that doesn't in anyway detract from the quality of the writing. Thank you.
