Unborn Math

Unborn Math

A Poem by ScaredSilent

In my mind you're geometric face wonders
Bumping endlessly against the edges of my dreamscape
Such angles and lines are truly imperceivable
To the naive human eye
May my eyes be naive still
To have seen such features
Your infantile existence
Brushing against my shadowed fingers
Your hands wrap tensely around my heart
At such a distance I can only gaze
At your all knowing eyes
Silence meets you in the womb of my imagination
As I cannot speak in your presence
Those hands of yours so gentle and graceful
Quietly caressing my tightly grasped heart
To soothe the pain caused
By your own nails
The fibers tear and stretch
As my heart flutters at a bumblebee pace
Your smile teasing at my lungs
Leaving me gasping for air
If only not to deprive you
The idea of another existence
Becomes obsolete with
the birth of you from my mind
I take my first steps into a new world
After years of loneliness and pain
And see your very likeness
Sitting some distance away
And I know that all will be well
