If my pen were to dry

If my pen were to dry

A Poem by Sydney.
"

Just a poem about how writing gets me through a lot

"

If my pen were to dry

So would my soul

You see

This ink takes me on a journey

A journey of love and peace

Hatred and pain

All for my paper to share

This pen of mine

Lights the ways of my heart

Every time I need to define

Who I am

Or what I do

My pen comes too

And all the lonely nights

And empty skies

When nothing seems right

That’s when my pen shines

To silence those insecurities

That I once knew

And in case you can’t get through

There’s always

Paper for two
