My Tribute To You

My Tribute To You

A Poem by Margarette
"

As I continue this path without you in my life, the days that lie ahead become filled with sorrow and anguish; but, I learned one thing and that is: I am still in love.

"

I still hear the gossips about you

Only then that I don't care

I always want to believe in you

I trust and have faith in you

As I walk the path leading to you

I can imagine myself being by your side

We follow the endless road ahead

And that our feelings will never end

The stardust that falls upon us

As we trot our way to the heavens

Shine a light for us in the future

To live the way we would like to

Half-hearted and hypocritical love

Those were the words that reached my ears

Though painstakingly true, I must face

That I think you no longer love me

If I'm not allowed to love you

In this era and place

Let's just go with it and try

I'm not tired of feeling that spark

Hey,sometimes we  shed tears

Which may lead to a smile afterwards

Become memories and cherish the feelings

It just does not end there

And as I finally stop in front of you

I realize that all my doubts are meaningless

For the person I'm in love with

Can never be replaced by another one

Happy death anniversary, my love!

This is so sad but very wonderful pen'd. Thanks for sharing your sorrowful moments with us. {{{HUGSSSSSSS}}} I know it's one of the hardest things to do.

A very sad poem. Death leave us with emptiness. We need to hold on to good memory and hope. Photos and words took the reader to a sad and lonely place. Thank you for the excellent poem.

i like how much deal of honesty expressed here. it is really sad when we lose someone dear to us, but that is life, what makes it little easier is the face that we will be all there one day..everyone of us is just waiting for the time to come..

True, there will come a time when all scars will be removed without keeping track of the time.
I really enjoyed the last stanza the best--really brings it all together! In a way you bring such a positivity knowing that you can still love someone even though they are gone and still feel the same intense feelings you once had.
