Music

Music

A Poem by Scarlett

For the longest time ever, I was alone.
Darkness surrounded me, I couldn't see.

But I realized, if I just opened my eyes
If I faced the world, the world could be mine.

Music accompanied me, everywhere I went
It would help me up, if I fell.

I never had real friends, yet music stayed.
It described my feelings, and helped on the way.

I began to get hated, for my solitude.
But I learned to not care, with my music too.

Not everyone will understand, my way of life.
The way I shut you down, may not seem right.

But if you learned to know me,
You would see.

I am nothing but lonely,
I'm an empty seed.

I don't understand your need for solitude..but I do understand exactly what you are saying...that means you said it well..that means you expressed well your feelings..that means you are an effective poet.
