Green Grass

Green Grass

A Poem by Bauner Chafin
"

to me, this is what the world has come to....

"

Till' death do us part,

Seems to bear no meaning,

To hear a sob at night,

and helpless children screaming.

What has the world come to,

In this terrible time,

It's like evil has us constricted,

In his forever tightening bind.

Starvation flourishes,

While selfishness thrives,

Why don't we get a grip,

Instead of sharpening our knives?

With crime rising rapidly,

And sin at it's best,

I am here to say,

That nobody has passed the test.

The time has come,

That we all shall abide,

'Cause the grass truely is greener,

On the other side.
