Possession

Possession

A Poem by Dollface
"

A stoic heart changes paths and sets its goals on owning love. After all, it's just another emotion, right? Written in descending syllables.

"

Possession

9) Love meant nothing to my stoic heart,

8) When your lingering eyes met mine.

7) You claimed my gaze, my brief soul.

6) I have just surrendered.

5) Now, you hold my chains,

4) Amused, you wait;

3) Unknowing,

2) You are

1) Mine.

Interesting dynamic there. The speaker being the one chained and surrendered, and yet the subject is the one owned. I like it. ^^
