I've got nothing else to lose.

I've got nothing else to lose.

A Poem by Peter Wisdom
"

Again more poetry

"
I’ve got a tongue just sharp enough

To cut off every tie

An honesty just blunt enough

To bruise your twisted lies
Cards I hold just close enough

To always come off tough.
And a stare that seems so far away

I’d lose myself with just your touch

Sometimes I get so high

I can’t remember my own name

And if I can just stoop low enough

I might finally go insane

You’ve got eyes I’d walk so far to see

I’d break and bruise both feet

A loving side that’s felt so close to me

That I’ll probably never meet
You’ve got words spoken so quietly

I can’t hear anything but them

And a smile you make so sheepishly

I explode into a grin

We’ve breathed smoke so honestly

It carried both our purest words

And things made so much sense to us

They must have been absurd
I miss you so much

I never want to see your face again

But you’re so f*****g bad at being distant

And I’m an awful friend
