You know it

You know it

Sitting in the living room
2:44 a.m.
can't sleep due to the wife
again.
I came home from work tired.
Lunch pale slipping off my fingers.
She had dinner ready at
11:15 p.m.
in a japanese dress
asking me if i'm
'too tired'
I said nothing as I hugged her.
'you look tired.'
I didn't want to hurt her feelings.
'I just need to eat'
and that started the fight to
last all night.
Haven't had one of these
in a while
but wasn't asking for one either.
My co-worker is kicking back
with booze and his crew at his place
across Phoenix but I did the right thing
this time.
I stayed home and still got nothing
out of it.
The black pearl kid hits another home
run but I never cared for baseball.
I got the tap out and everyone
in the building jumped out of
their seats.
