Fading Day (The Crow)

Fading Day (The Crow)

A Poem by Sean Kuchman
"

Written in 1997, about the original Crow movie. I love that movie.

"
Day fades into night
A dream slips from your grasp
You reach out, pull it near
Too late, it never was
Cracked mirror still reflects
Broken dreams, a broken soul
Insane smile, carrion call
Blood on hands, but never yours
Innocence stolen, beaten from her
Vengeance you are, hate you shall be
And when the wrong turns into right
And day slowly defeats the night
You’ll lay back down upon your grave
And know your love, with this you saved.

About
I have been writing all of my life. I wrote my first short story- a choose your own adventure- when I was 8. I have been hard at it ever since. I do not do it for want of fame, fortune or glory- altho.. more..
