Memories.

Memories.

A Poem by Sean Ravensdale

The memories,
All those memories
Remain in my sight,
As clear as water or light.

That stick
You used to poke me,
Was that a sign of affection?
Or just a silly way to release tension?

The kisses,
The taste of your soft lips.
You bit me, a pain that showed
How much you loved me, even when it bled.

My heart
Felt warmth.
Never had such comforting feelings.
But now, it's alone, cold and bleeding.

Our future
Seemed so great.

Our lives
Aimed towards perfection.

But it all had to end.
It all had to disappear.

And I have to die,
Or leave my soul drown in tears.

Author's Note

Sean Ravensdale
Mixing abstract images with clear events and some other stuff. I'm still debating if it turned out well. I'd like feedback on that aspect.
