MERE XXVIII

MERE XXVIII

A Poem by Seanne Tholltree

Hey Seanne now you know that your visitor is not

worth of the services of your luxury penthouse eh?

Yeah, if I just listened to you from MERE X that I

Shouldn’t resurrect Petrarch. If I wasn’t drawn in MERE XII,

Now I know that we’re better off as acquaintance in response to

MERE XIII. If I wasn’t that stubborn when you

Already say STOP in MERE XV, if I wasn’t that blind

Not to see that the light is not fully turned on in

MERE XXI, and sad to say that I’m merely

Knocking at my guest’s door in MERE XXII.

It’s all right; at least you’ve learned your lesson

Go ahead talk to your guest about this matter.

Okay. Thank you. Perhaps I’ll merely close my pent house

for guests like the one we have now.
