MERE XXIX

MERE XXIX

A Poem by Seanne Tholltree

Hello there! I’ll go directly ok.

After a million seconds of letting you

Whirl in my pent house gave me

A million reasons why you should leave.

I realized that being close to you

Is a lot worse than just seeing you

Millions of centimeters away,

Because after I’d examined you closely

I found that you came up short of my expectations.

I also realized that you’re not my animus either.

Sorry if I’m so frank, and  I know this is hard for me.

This is the time that I can bravely say

 “I’ll merely STOP”.

Goodbye.
