Workshop

Why aren't there any new active workshops? I really want to improves my writing by doing a workshop but I can't find one that interests me and is new. Anyone wanna make one and be a couch or something?

Did you mean "coach"? Cause being a "couch" probably wouldn't take a workshop, just a spot next to the phone and a TV would probably work. ;P

I agree with Lori. In fact i wrote a poem about it, after a writer was mad at me for a review they requested. It's titled, "A Review Gone Bad".

I will tell you the plain truth.. most people here do not want help or to be helped.. they want reviews and not just any reviews, they want great reviews.. no matter how mediocre their work is and if there is someone who tells them their work is mediocre and how to fix it, that person is suddenly harassed and practically if not completely driven from this site. My suggestion to you is to find 2-3 people on your friends list who give you constructive criticism and ask them to continue advising you on your work.

Hmmmm thanks.....I would have really like to do a workshop though, maybe I can make my own with some friends or something. We did a few in creative writing class at my school was all.
