have you ever wondered how the sky connects to the ground?

Would you kindly listen to me for a second

I want to say something and I'm not sure how

I know it's hard to believe

But maybe it's not so far fetched

I've been thinking lately

About the things we've done

And have you ever thought that maybe

Someone else was pulling the strings?

Someone is behind the scenes

Watching us now

In this pretty little lie of ours

There are masters and mistresses

But maybe I'm just going insane

After all that's what they all thought

I mean isn't that why

I'm talking to you?
