How it Must Be

It's not easy to love you

To hear you

But not see you

To emotionally feel your love

But not physically

To have so much time in my day

Hanging with friends

Laughing with family

Yet never once go into your presence

It's not easy

Almost impossible

Yet we make it work

I miss out a lot

It doesn't help to know you do too

I want to visit you daily

Walk down the street holding hands

Buying stuff for our future wants

Our future needs

I want that

Can't tell you how bad I need it

It just isn't easy

To hear other couples

How they move forward

While we are still on hold

Like there is a pause button on our life

That for some reason we just can't undue

It really isn't easy to love you

I just know 

Somehow no matter how long it takes

How hard it is

The very few moments we do have together

Makes it all worth it

It isn't easy

But nothing good comes easy

God wants you to earn it
