A Poem by Jake Brunton
"

(english title: "Expressionless")

"
Whenever the crisp morning dew drips
the girl quivers with her soft lips
At the sight of the onslaught clouds
she tightens her grip
and prays for the night

The tower of mortals
they mock at her life choices
The chapel of love and grace
is burning her on the stake
At the sight of the mass
the beautiful girl quivers
and she needs no love

She traveled along the paths
her bare feet sinking in the mud
She coughed velvet and mucus
just because of her belief
the everlasting want of love
of which she has none

Whenever the brisk dusk night whispers
the girl quivers with her hips
At the sight of the onslaught stars
she braces for the next life
and prays for the morning

No longer wanted; no longer loved
No longer appreciated; no longer sought
she leaves the town of communism
Her mind wavers in the forest of dusk
as she trips on the bramble of hatred
and cuts herself

She traveled along the cliffs
her bare feet scarred from the jutted rocks
She folded over in pain
just because she wanted acceptance
She is dying alone in the clear day
alone on the cliff
She is dying alone in the clear day
with no difference

The Tower of mortals
they shall not pray
For her name is a sin to sound
and they shall not remember
for difference is a sin
No one will remember;
the soul that was expressionless.
