Hurting

When you believe something, about yourself, that you are 'wrong', that you are  'defective' somehow, someone will come and make you doubt yourself, make you throw caution to the wind; start chipping at the walls you've built around yourself; make your imagination run wild, with "what would be"s; make you dream, make you hope; and just when you have convinced yourself,  "Yes, this could be me! " they start pulling away, start avoiding you; leaving you just a little bit more, 'broken'. But you know what, KEep those dreams! let the walls crumble, throw that caution out the window, let yourself hope; that one day, ONE DAY those dreams won't just be dreams anymore, however impossible, no matter how many times they crush your hopes, HOPE...
