half awake/ dreams bleed through/ day begins

raw morning

in my chipped red teacup:

back flip, sugar cube,

blowhole

escape,

through me,

into some strange sea

where my

blood moon brain

out

with p(ure rem)ain(s)

of these aborted dreams,

beige drapes

blink.

light

w

    l

like a

w(ounded sn)ake

up

grey vinyl

and into my filthy mouth:

earthy tang

on

restless

scarlet fin

which rudders

me

through

my worst

intentions

and

into

the turbulent

day.
