beyond the nimbus ceiling

beyond the nimbus ceiling

A Poem by Nobody.
"

this one is a few years old...but it is a favorite.

"

beyond the nimbus ceiling

jaunt through

abstruse psycho spiritual kismets ala carte:

smash grinning mirrors and saunter beyond

intangible parallels.

nibble at the forbidden cheese

of Swarga Ioka,

scratch at pearly purgatorial gates.

slurp Nirvana.

snort Tian.

plow the Elysian Fields.

enlightenment on the metaphysical cracker

tingles on the transcendental tongue.

beyond the nimbus ceiling,

below the molten rocks of Hades.

surf Styx on an eternal dial tone wave.

the stone from one’s own grave cuts black emotion.

Ka Kisses smudged maidens of Aaru

to the shining dismay of Queen Ma'at.

Ammit laps at the mastaba like a lollipop.

Hamistagan accuses every move.

bar brawl in Valhalla,

crown Frisbee game in Heaven,

a tumble through highest Jannah

and a hand of metempsychosis with Orpheus and the boys.

then back to the mundane leapfrog

holiday with the mortal fraternity.

this is just gorgeous.. a melding of philosophies and belief structures.. all esoteric, and all intensely personal..

i love the tongue-in-cheekiness of this metaphor:
enlightenment on the metaphysical cracker
tingles on the transcendental tongue.

you make me smile with your wordsmithiness...

Your poems have a blend of a lot of ideas and to fully enjoy the flavor of your poems, One needs to be conversant with those ideas. IT is a great work but i feel my liking is still surficial. The real feel may take time to come.

This was a good one. :-) I liked it a lot. Sorry for the lack of reviews. This was a great poem, though. Great work.

Word smith, fun reading, an amazingly fundamental, yet psychotic interludeof wording and rhythm. awsome job keep it up.

This is quite a romp with Orpheus and the boys... but I love the greats of mythology.
