arise

arise

A Poem by Nobody.

electrical horizon through fish eye lens windowpanes,

shadowy adders crawl fermented grooves.

move to the rhythm of tribal pulse mystery;

hot flesh and sweat-sheen of perfumed delirium.

mentally molten the words become laborious

euphoria slips from the overworked tongue.

lungs fill with fire; the dragon arises;

simplicity thrusts the unknown with no fear.

seared by the slide, no denial of hunger;

thunderous bedposts and lightning lit walls.

let the squalls of my mind release their dark rage

and sleep in silk whispers until danger renews.

Funny thing... this is exactly how I felt on Friday night: with my molten mentality, words became very laborious...and, yes, my mind was full of squalls. I have to say after a s**t night's sleep (no silken whispers), I don't feel any better and expect those dangers renewed.

jeez - where do you keep getting all this stuff?? you just spout out all of these brilliant pieces - with descriptions I so envy you for ha - like a macabre flower throwing its petals here and there haha!! you're crafty too - I love the "molten words become laborious euphoria slips from the overworked tongue" - the assonance mimics the "overworked tongue" - too clever!! nice!

Full of fire, passion, desire and frustation. Finishing in a moment's piece before the circle begins once more.
