![]() From There to HereA Poem by Nobody.1 Silence is the key to harmony, you said. A drone plain soared above us; a plastic raven dancing a bruised heaven. Earlier, when we were speaking in tongues, I think I foresaw this entire calamity. I can’t be sure until the buildings start collapsing. 2 After the explosion, we realized that the coastguard had shut down the bridge between you and I. The moon had declared herself blind. You were still behind the crime scene tape, touching everything, trying to implicate yourself for fun. I was in the lobby, hoping you could survive the emptiest moments alone. 3 As I'm watching an obsolete TV someone has crucified on the wall of an abandoned waiting area, Earth completely turns his head. Sunlight pours through that stained glass you hung up on the porch. Your green and blue smile fills me to the point of bursting. I realize it’s probably bad news. Either we’ve both died, or I’m dreaming. © 2012 Nobody.Featured Review
