Licking the Spark Plug

Licking the Spark Plug

A Poem by Nobody.

riding remission;

Golgatha to Easter.

a withered reflection

shines Lazarus beams.

zero eyes can’t re-master

this big b*****d mirror;

shifty fog is relentless,

shadow dog cloaked in mange.

strange spiritual blisters

to a new box of screws;

hot minefield is blooming,

cold ketchup runs thin.

sinful flex won’t ingest

this toxic time taco;

can’t stomach my midnight,

can’t dry hump my tomb.

though there’s rust on the body,

dew still tickles roses,

and nobody cries

while their war drum can dream.

I wash Pilate hands,

staple Hell’s eyes shut

and dance in false sunlight;

blind. naked. warm.
