New Life

New Life

A Poem by Serendipity1000
"

Poem on the miracle of new life.

"

Red and howling

she arrives,

finally.

Little fingers

balled up into little fists.

Life’s first breaths,

cold and cruel.

Smiling parents

posing for a photo

with new life placed

on mother’s chest.

Inexpressible pride

and joy.

Adrenaline surging

at the wonder of it all.

She is here.

something most can relate to. so cute and telling. indeed, new life is a miracle that brings untold pride and joy as it was meant to. life is so precious and unique. this made me smile and brought back memories of when my children were born - i was on cloud 9 ... :)

The birth of a son or daughter after all the hard work of labour is so exhilarating. That moment the babe is placed in its mother's arms totally unforgettable. A most relatable poem Serendipity1000
