Pilgrims of a Thought

Pilgrims of a Thought

A Poem by Serene Star

Within or without
Seeking darkness in light
The mahogany in teals
Oft brown winds
Stars relinquish
This backdrop of bright days
As this earth may sing
A soft song in sparks
Paid to this oath
Of a light
Coming from afar
The heavens shall agree
Upon a place to meet
Warmth would find
Embracings
Of much found
As trees shed tiny dust
Of pure red
Words would be this escapade
Open to seas
Lines of mistaken thought
Hugged this release
For bounties of love
Effortlessly stream
Longing to create
A package of stars
Dreams would lay in silence
In his presence
As something once spoken of
Could seize
Opening the doors
To fountains of mercy
He holds her world
Within his arms
Cradling all colors
In pilgrims of thought
As they both allocate existence
From this borderless place
Discoveries of pure wine
Through an endless meadow
They live eternally
By banks of floral fields
Campfires of the soul
May lay a form of speech
As they both known no end

A beautiful, sweeping work, a verbal opera. You paint with your words, and you reveal a calmness and tranquility to the reader. So many profound lines in there;

"For bounties of love effortlessly stream, Longing to create a package of stars"

The poem may be personal to you and I do not claim to understand it's full picture but, I feel that you hint of God with your words.

Real quality, keep writing.

Interesting - i am going to review your work
Its Ramadan for us here in the Middle East :)read more
what wonderful metaphor...i saw words journeying, landing, sharing with the Native Americans who understand us and nature much better than we.
we have endless speech, but do we ever really say anything?
that's perplexing.
maybe i'll go to that meadow and have some of that wine.
