Tempus fugit

Tempus fugit

A Poem by Seriana

Tempus Fugit

When time whispers softly of days gone by

And hope’s fire burns across the scarlet sky

When everything fades to a soft, yellow light

And Heaven’s breath speaks of promises bright

When the evening star shines to lead the way

And lonely paths traveled are left to earthen clay

Might the hand of another… warm, trusting and soft

Comfort your weary spirits and raise them aloft

As the seasons past swiftly and urge you along

In the solace of a friend will you find a new song

And when past troubles surface upon ending night

May Serenity’s hand guide you in eternal sight

This poem struck me as a combination of your prayer and God's answer of divine inspiration. As we are all part of the web of life the words ring true for us. Your ability to capture the trance channel quality of this mystical metaphor, hidden and shining from common diamond words, demonstrates for me your commitment to the path with a Heart. This is the stuff of lasting beauty!
Excellent.
