Serenade

Serenade

A Poem by Seriana

Serenade

The night rhythm moved

slipping in the groove of the two.

Confinement of their space

lie in the emptiness of satin

and lace...curtains,

drawn back from above

Lilting and lifting

A sifting of invisible love

And they...

in the moonlight

swung through the pulse of the night

dancing there,

in a world all their own

As the spreading of misty clouds

lent a tender moment more,

the sultry vernal night

gave way to a piercing rapture

capturing the cascading transcendence

between fragile sighs and intimate goodbyes

on the quiet breezy eve

of their simple serenading sky

Amber this is just so softly passionate... the serenade of the night which is for lovers... you captured all the tenderness and desire that comes when two people in love let the night takes its coarse.
