Dance of Faith

Dance of Faith

A Poem by Sermone

You took a step
And then I followed.
A nice duet
The dress was borrowed
The suit was rent
The dance for free
Oh all I spent
On you and me.

A hand so soft
Upon my skin
Tones reached the loft
You reached within
You had control
Baby don't lie
You led the dance
Oh naive I.

Now I still dance
Dance on my own
Another man
Another tone
Dance in the steet
No dance for free
Dance on bare feet
Oh naive me

Sounded like a song in my head as I read it. I agree with the other reviewer that it flows very beautifully. I also love the story that is told through it, you did a wonderful job.

This flows so beautifully and there's a perfectly smooth transition from something new and exciting to what seems like regret. Very well done.
