Kalopsia

A Poem by Ms.Sestina
"

This poem deals with the dark side of love. When two lovers exist eternally, nothing can stop them from being together.

"
I took the time to appreciate her eyes that resembled islamic art
It's erratic how if the creator breathed, he would've bowed to your craft
It's like a tangled taste of radiance that I lick off of my fingers
It's the aura on my cues that you've left abaft and the ambience that lingers
My serenades have dissolved in a blackout, I feel trapped in this malady
Her carcass that once savoured of crispy lilies, now smelled scuzzy
"What is love?" She asked me, her face blinded by the moonlight
"Love is when all the omens lead me to you" I said, dominating her sight
Her umber peeled skin glittered under the chalky silver of the satellite
She looked majestic in her ivory dermis that was laced in white
She promised me that she'd wrap herself in her pearly dress tomorrow
Lifting her weight on the balls of her feet, she kissed my chin with her satin lips
Her dazzling visage was partly camouflaged by her onyx painted flicks
She presented a smile that gnawed away my demons and chased the sorrow
It was pouring down a crescendo of soft drizzle from the azure above
She flashed a beam and we twined our fingers initiating a walk alone
We paced our way through the fuzzy brume pursing our orifices zipped
Didn't utter a word till we orbited the cemetery and the heavy hail dripped
We flipped open the grave that smelled like fresh clay and lilies alloyed
She encased herself juxtaposing me and rested her back on the right
Once again the silt under our bodies was concocted under the case
She was right next to me draped in her white gown covered in the lace
