Alone

Alone

A Poem by Seth DeAlba

A verse
Lost in thought I will travel through my path
Again
I seem to forget everything around me, A debate of death
Flirting
With what can only be called pure tragedy, I fell
Falling
Into a future not worth having, tears shed for no reason
Nonsense
Spoken true, words that flew into the sun
Blinding
I find myself dying in a small way
However
I am dying, slowly and carefully, blood dripping from open wounds
Hidden
Inside lie upon lie there can be no escape only change
Why
Whatever happens happens no matter what
Dislocation
Of the jaw or the back or the leg no more no more
Reasoning
With a gun with a knife
Blood gone to the floor left dripping puddles out the door till there is
No more.
