Gratitude

Gratitude

A Poem by Sethnicity

The hills, grain, plains majesty
Mountain grandeur canyon tributaries
Crack bridge fall tower gun crash unity
Excess food, weight, waste, make great soup kitchen play60
Landfills oil spills batteries
let US learn to recycle these
Rediscovery from challenge great are we
never stuck stagnant in apathy
like our rivers first frost
underneath whales swim
fluidity
We make movements, improvements, opportunity
Sea shores shining pelicans diving
and a dude
Dedicated to
cleaning up the view
just because
he loves US too
The sheer magnitude of land mass inspires gratitude
The freedom paid for dutifully
Time & life given soldier serve voluntarily
A language sprawling tapestry
NASA launching Tesla trajectory
Roads autos trains planes our claim to thee
This land
our land
my land
thankfully

This reminds me of the dont litter campaigns of the 70s.
We never stop to think how pollution and waste is a lasting scar upon our land.
Thank you for this reminder. A plea to reform and take action.
