Boggie-man

A Poem by Eryn ♪
"

I felt like doing something dark for once. Now back to my usual stuff.

"
Black as coal,
Darkness takes the soul,
Takes it deep into the abyss,
It rides it's dark chariot,
Along the black steel blade.

It tears into the red,
Take it's squelching sip,
Draining the crimson flow,
Tastes of metal,
Drip off of the metal dagger.

White and cold,
A shell left to rot,
Rain falling upon white pupils,
Dead eyes soaking up nothing,
Lying as a rag doll on the ground.

Yellow is the flash,
Of the enemy's eyes,
Seeking more, always more,
A wicked smile upon their face,
A monster amongst men.

The sirens lay silent,
The not a cat to raise an eye,
None do care,
As the innocent die.
