A ripple, A wave...

A ripple, A wave...

A Poem by Robert Centner

Silence among friends,
Growing talk among people,
Take me away before it ends,
Trapped on the edge waiting for the ripple.

Disease spreads quickly,
A growing cancer of the heart,
Words spread freely,
Our group, deaths next mark.

Growing tension, escape from them all,
A life trapped between friends,
Forced to chose on a call,
No way to make the mend.

Once again left to the few,
True people that never go away,
Never will I find a cure,
To solve this disarray.
