Valentines Day

General Thoughts more than anything else

Valentines Day.....it's supposed to be a day for lovers everywhere,a day where even the pimpliest kid in class feels special to someone.If thats the truth then why do so many of us single,married,or otherwise wind up spending so much of our time today unhappy and alone?The only ones who are happy today are the restaraunts who rake in mucho Dinero by charging an additional 5.00 onto everything...cause they know you'll pay for it.and the florists who grow all those damn roses that even the discount stores sell for 25.00!!!!!and especially the Hallmark people who make an extra 18 million dollars by selling the cards that sing the best 15 seconds of a song.Most of us begin this day with a high amount of anticipation and optimism.but we always end up the same at least a little if not a lot disappointed by what we did or didn't get,and sad that our significant others didn't put more thought into this bullshit holiday thinking about it now Christmas and Valentines are alot alike.Everyone jacks up the price on everything they know people want and no one really gets what they wanted,commercials for certain products start airing about  two months in advance and so on and so forth......A day for lovers of all ages huh?Then why do people go to sleep on this night every year feeling less loved than they did before
