sweet regret

sweet regret

A Poem by Wolf
"

my ex called me last night and this is what i felt

"

I heard it in your voice that sweet hint of regret;

you called me last night your voice was trembling all around.

I remember things of the past vivid and sweet;

like a sweet taste of victory,

i know you feel the pain that i had to feel.

But thats your problem now and i do not regret;

things you made me feel suffer the hand you where dealt.

First off, it's almost impossible to read. The color is way too bright an that turned me off instantly.

Other than that though, I felt every word. It's so true. They leave us, treat us like crap, make us cry, and then come running back. It really does feel so good. It's almost like closure too.

Evocative of the past for each reader; to think and remember.

I like how this poem can apply to many situations. I personally took it for vengence. Another good write.

This sweet regret is painful regret. I like this, you've got the feelings down pretty good.

The kind of situation that's almost and no win situation. You want out, but don't want the pain so very easily can get sucked right back in only to wish you hadn't gone there.
