Best Left Alone

Best Left Alone

A Poem by Harry Mora

Raging with this self concern.

The world flails itself around me so uncaring.

I want this and I want that.

Well, I have nothing to f*****g give you.

Can't you see why this anger burns?

I who once was so unerring.

Have tripped over life's black cat.

I've hit the floor and fallen through.

Why repeat the questions?

Why repeat the strain?

Why pull at me harder?

Why make yourself to blame?

You must end these sessions.

Let me sort the pieces of my brain.

Or you'll only make yourself a martyr.

And all this misery will remain just the same.

Let me sort this out my way

Or just keep yourself away.
