Silent Night

Silent Night

A Poem by Shallowed

Try this sorrow, its too tight
Will you go out with it or will you fight?
Don't even try, our destinies are tied
This time, the old croaks have died
Tonight our fingers cross
But it wont take away our loss
Don't fake your sadness
Your pulling us into madness
Sends shivers through my body
Light is gone, so is Roddy
His loud happy laughter
We must go after, we must go after
Its now too quiet for a day like this
We used to have some good times, pure bliss
Happiness is never a true emotion, it leaves us
And turns into sorrow, leaving us in the dust
The two others that will take after us
Can't resist, by chance they must
I hope they live out their best
Because they will take the ultimate test
The old ones shouldn't have died in vain
We must go through with this, in joy or pain
Please don't cry, I think I see the light
And so this ends our final Silent Night

Author's Note

Shallowed
After you read the whole entire poem, pay attention to the line,
"Don't even try, our destinies are tied" then after that read the last stanza again
