Where It Leads No One Knows (Pantoum)

Where It Leads No One Knows (Pantoum)

A Poem by SheWolfNLust

Shadowy coverings which shades the light,

Of an old cottage house hidden in woods,

Towering trees, only the door in sight,

The door locked tightly to protect its goods.

Of an old cottage house hidden in woods,

A light beneath the door draws attention,

The door locked tightly to protect its goods

What lies inside the houses retention?

A light beneath the door draws attention,

But its appearance scares most folks away,

What lies inside the houses retention?

As just the birds, are left on trees to sway.

But its appearance scares most folks away,

A lonesome old dwelling so obscure,

As just the birds, are left on trees to sway,

Within its mystique as yet found no cure.
