We Lay As Close (Rondeau)

We Lay As Close (Rondeau)

A Poem by SheWolfNLust

We lay as close in sand near dawn,

Within embrace before predawn,

As both we melt, your lips as close

Our hearts fast pace before it slows

Our fingers hold, until nights gone.

The sky shall not stay overdrawn,

So soft the sand we lay here on,

and this desire within us grows."

      We lay as close--

The morning’s sun shines bright upon,

Our love’s wings spread just like a swan,

While this warmth within gently flows

Sea mists off shore, such pleasure shows

Sweet romance, tides idly moves-on

        We lay as close!
