A poem about patience and endurance

Sometimes we must endure

Decades of patience...

And whatever come what may

To recieve a lifetime of peace

Even if its only for a moment

For what once was, will never be

And what is, will never be again

In all my life I have never been truly happy, but if just once, even for a moment would mean the world to me.
