Disappeared from my Corner Shelf

Disappeared from my Corner Shelf

A Poem by Sherwette

 I think of something else
That disappeared from my corner shelf
And I wonder if it will ever come my way
When what I just did drove it away
But that’s the risk of letting go
Of moving on to build a glow
To let the rain wipe it plain
And start again
From a place you don’t know
What if it blows?
No, no, correction
I mean what if it glows?

sometimes we let things or people go and wonder if we have made a mistake, should we have kept them there. If it is a person we had stored on this shelf and we never took them down and hugged them or even dusted them off we certainly needed to let them go. A wonderful piece.

You're ideas and cunning is awesome. I love the questions ask, and the style & metaphors you use. Love this, a lot. Amazing piece :)
