The Wheel Rolled

The Wheel Rolled

A Poem by Sherwette

The wheel rolled
For the first time, it was so fast, so exciting
And when it crashed, it wasn’t so good
It was haunting, it lasted for long
For the second time, it rolled even faster
The wheel was excited for the thrill
It wanted to roll till it flies above the ground
It crashed
It wasn’t haunting this time
It was slaughtered
For the third time, it didn’t want to roll
The wheel placed that rock upfront
A stranger came by to push it for another roll
To feel the thrill
The wheel resisted

guess we all retreat more and more from fearful things. past experiences tend to make us think we can predict the future heh? nice one...I liked this...maybe the wheel was the circle of life you were talking about. I don't know if I would wanna come back again. Better make the most of the time I have now. thanks.
