Something About Pearls

Something About Pearls

A Poem by Sherwette

Something about pearls
Something about pearls makes me smile
An innocence of a little girl holding some flowers
Something about pearls
They shine
Yet in a classy way they align
Something about pearls
They are bright and fine
Something about pearls
The purity they serve
Something about pearls
The touch of softness in their curves
So round and smooth
Something about pearls
Will always soothe a river of wounds

They are my lucky charms and safety guard... :)

I like the repetition of 'something about pearls' and the last line makes me think. I wonder, what inspired you to write this?
