Twin Flame

Twin Flame

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

She knew not who he was

although she felt a kinship

with many men

there was only One

that carried her heart in hand-

though she had yet to meet him

she felt she knew him well

the missing link in her life

the only one to tell

when she was feeling lonely

to hold her hand, sit by her side

listen to laments

or praise her for her endurances

though she knew him not

as is common among society

an everyday occurence

he came to her in her sleep

and swept her off her feet

each and every night

a man that came in spirit

before flesh and bone

to warn her forthright

of any harm that may

come her way

to take away the pains

that had plagued her growing

he shone forth in love of course

throughout her lifetime

from childhood to old age

her one and only

twin flame

her yin to yang

her him to her

they blossomed forth

throughout a lifetime

although she knew him not by name

simply as

Arcane.

Intriguing - arcane... Nicely contrived lyric of a woman's longing for her alter ego, for the One... maybe the One we all hope to find One day...

I see the beloved in everything and everyone -- sometimes I don't know where I live because sHe is all over the place -- True unity of human beings can only come through the heart, and that unity of the heart can only come by the recognition of the innermost Self which is divine, seated there. Your Self is no different from my Self, is no different from anybody else's Self here. With this recognition of the essence of the Self, which is universal, which is in all things, not only do we become members of one human race, but we also learn to identify ourselves with every form of existence on earth. Whether it be stone, whether it be tree, bird, animal, it doesn't matter, because that same Self is in the heart of that, too. We are all each others Twin Flames -- write on Sid
