A Single Red Rose

A Single Red Rose

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce
"

for our dear friend who passed away today...

"

Upon her grave

he left a single red rose

thirty years after

her fragile demise

Today he died

and will be returned

to her once more

In loving arms

they shall embrace

again

After such a long passing

of time

they will be together once more

In one anothers'

hearts, minds, and souls

they are forever together

with their single red rose.
