Destiny's Game

Many years ago,

There was a mighty emperor..

Not only an emperor,

But also a harsh conqueror!

 

He thrashed everyone

Who came in his way,

With no mercy at all

‘Cruel’ as they say..

 

Ruling the whole world

Was what he aspired..

But little did he know,

That his destiny was already hired..

 

There’s no escaping destiny,

What’s written has to happen!

He too, was no exception

And his dreams had to swatten!

 

Nobody was unfamiliar

With the strength of his sword..

But, though being brave,

His ways were totally absurd!

 

He went quite ahead

In his race to become the ultimate..

But fell in love with the one,

Who was destined his soul mate!

 

It made him forget all his dreams

And was taken away from his goal..

They say love is blind, but it does have eyes

To change one’s soul..

 

The king who once killed brutally,

Was now imparting happiness..

He became a symbol of love and peace,

And the people worshipped his holiness!

 

 

This was the story of a king..

In whose life, a drastic change came

The choice is yours to live as you want,

But you cannot quit the Destiny’s game!
