I cut away the heartache.

I cut away the sadness,

the happiness,

the tears.

The blade goes deeper,

and deeper still.

Numbing me;

Inside and out.

I cut away the pleasure.

I cut away the angst.

I cut away everything.

There's nothing left to feel.

I cut away this ugly skin.
