Shadow Person

Shadow Person

A Poem by Beautiful Mistake

Nothing even matters when I am here

Wishing I could just disappear already

Knowing no one would care they would

Just be happy I'm not there I'm

Nothing more than thin air drifting here

Among the wind and through the trees will

I finally be happy will I finally be free

Being a breeze across the ocean blowing

Through people's hair watching them smile

Without a care do I dare show them

The pain that fills me or will I

Simply say I'm fine and walk away and

Continue to die inside like I do everyday

This poem to me is about being kinda there, but I've felt this way whenever I am around my friends.
