Alone he sits, quietly contemplating,
The taste of beer stings on the lips of his tobacco flavored kiss.
A wondering soul confusedly scratches the hair of his beard,
Thinking like stone in the shadows.

His mustache twitches at the thought of his past,
In the confinements of his own space, becomes repulsed at such vulgar scenes.
All of which his mirrors are broken at the sight of his reflection,
Blinded by madness, he repents in his sadness.

Alone he sits as the heavens peer slow,
They say "In time he will learn and become a hero"
"His destiny is set, and his path is determined"
"Fear nothing my son, this was meant to be certain"

Sitting alone, alone he will sit,
Quietly waiting his day to be fit,
Until the day comes, he's sitting alone,
A King that's been waiting to cast in his throne.

This is so sad. Sometimes we are our own worst enemies, not able to forgive ourselves. That too is a sin... Let it go and live. We will all meet our maker in due time. Don't waste the gift of life. Nice penning of a sad situation.
