Someone cared about her

About the thoughts in her mind

About the life she lived in today.

He was going to show it tonight.

Nothing was perfect

Perfect as a toothless grin

Perfect as a dark spot on the sun.

No one cared about her

About her lonely thoughts

About the life she wished she had.

He had showed that tonight.

A somewhat depressing pome I wrote before I had the pleasure of being asked out by someone. I was somewhat cynical during that time.
